Verona - Italy 2008...
Please note, BOOKING OPENS 6th Jan 2008
"We had a truly fantastic time in Verona and Venice - so many things to recall. Everything went very smoothly and I kept up the surprises of what we were doing etc the whole time. The hotels were both very good in quality and location. Wonderful, different cities. I was thrilled with the seats for the opera - both evenings, and am so glad we did the pre-opera for La Boheme."
Mrs Linda Darling, re:Trip Verona & Venice 07
Verona offers an enchanting backdrop to the magnificently staged opera festival which takes place here every summer and the Roman amphitheatre or ‘Arena’ inspires producers such such as Franco Zeffirelli to lavish heights. The 2008 season sees the return of Denis Krief’s acclaimed production of Nabucco, Zefirelli’s Carmen, a new ‘Aida’ as well as Tosca, Rigoletto and, most appropriately, Romeo and Juliet.
There can be few pleasanter ways to spend an evening as the audience gathers in the Piazzas to sip 'prosecco' before taking their seats inside the 'Arena'. After the performance, many visitors go on to have a late supper in the 'trattorias' which line the tiny streets nearby or return to their hotels at Lake Garda. The 'Arena' opera festival can be enjoyed as part of a weekend break or a longer visit to Venice and the Veneto area or Lake Garda. The city is very accessible as British Airways fly direct to Verona from Gatwick and Ryan Air also fly to nearby Treviso and Brescia and easyJet to Venice.

Unlike online booking services where tickets are only booked by category, K&N offers a personal service whereby clients can select exact seat numbers and location within the Arena itself. Contact: info@knassoc.com

Our staff can also advise on restaurant bookings and other local information and book 4 star hotels in the centre of Verona, just a few minutes walk from the Arena as well as Verona's beautiful churches, excellent shops and restaurants.
